Tiruvarur: Police All women catch two people including a grandmother from a 17-year-old girl on charges of doing a small wedding near Tiruvarur.
The police also looked for several other people in connection with the incident.
According to the police, the arrest was identified as a 69-year-old woman, a resident of Tiruvarur and his 35-year-old relatives, a divorce from Paravakottai.
The woman was married to her 17-year-old granddaughter to the 35-year-old man against his desire on September 8, police said.
Based on information about marriage, district welfare officials filed complaints to all female police in Tiruvarur.
The police registered the case and arrested the woman and the man under Pocso acted and released them in court detention, police said.
