Gorakhpur: With the death of captain IAF Group Varun Singh on Wednesday, all the villages of Kanhauli Doria District fall into the ocean of sadness.
The only survivors of the tragic helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu on December 8 where Indian Defense Chief of India India Bipin was treated, the wife and 11 others had died, the group of captain Singh fought against the battle of life at the Bengaluru Command Hospital.
The villagers, who prayed for his life for the past week, plunged into sadness when around 1pm, information about death was received by his family in the village.
His father Col Kp Singh and Uncle Akhilesh Pratap Singh, who was a former spokesman for the MLA and Congress Party, together with other family members already in Bengaluru.
Captain of the Varun Singh Group has visited Kanhauli after attending a wedding ceremony at Lucknow about five months ago and met the villagers, who now remembered the moment by liking.
Gond Chandan, the IAF officer’s house guard in his village, said with tears in his eyes, “Chandan Bhaiya came to the village five months ago and I took him to the farm to show the plant.
He checked everything and also talked about the seeds.
He is a good person Heart and well behaved.
“One Harikesh Vishwakarma from the village said that he would never forget the officer because he was very to earth and always talked to him like a friend.
Sikander Kushwaha, another village resident, said, “He used to tell us to guard the country in life .
“Sheshnath Thakur, Singh Vilas, Radheyshyam Singh, Kanhaiya and many others cannot stop their tears and say that all their prayers cannot save a dashing life.
