After this, Ramesh lodged in the Cuddalore sub-prison after undergoing Covid-19 tests.
Advocates MP KS Sivaraj has searched for first grade prison cells for parliamentarians in the Cuddalore center prison.
He expressed optimism that MP would shift to first-class cells on Tuesday if the results of the swab test returned negatively for Covid-19.
Ramesh in a statement, was released before he gave up, said he felt sick to note that several political parties had launched false propaganda against DMK after the death of a worker in the cashew nut unit.
He said he did not want to make room for people to oppose false charges against good governance from his leader (DMK of the President and Minister of Chief M K Stalin) and decided to give up in court.
He said he would face accusations he leveled legally, giving a lot of evidence and proving that he was innocent.
Sleuth CBCID has arrested five people identified as MP Natarajan’s personal assistant, Mete M Kandavel factory manager, M Allah Pitchai, K Vinoth and Sundararajan.
The investigation team, who visited the house of parliamentarian members on Saturday to issue a call, found him not at home and launched a search for him.
Its development follows the death of Govindarasu, a worker at Gayathiriri Maches Trv owned by MP, on September 20.
The son of workers said he found an injury to his father’s body, pushed the probe.
