Dharmapuri: NTK leader, seemed to be hard to ruling DMK, accused his cadres to release violence at a party on Tuesday.
Kemamat came after his party worker was attacked by DMK cadres during a public meeting in Morappur in the Dharmapuri district on Tuesday.
NTK has held a public meeting near Morappur Bus Stand to demand the release of seven convicts on former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi case and that Muslim convicts are in prison more than 20 years.
In his speech, NTK Functionary Himmler slammed the powerful DMK and Minister M K Chairman Stalin “for doing a little valuable in the release of seven convicts”.
In a widely circulated video, DMK workers can be seen suddenly appearing in Dais and attacking speakers and other functionaries.
Morappur police registered a case against 50 people in connection with the incident.
Then, in a statement, Seaman said embarrassing that the police just stood up and watched without acting.
“They (DMK) can fight our statement with the words instead of releasing violence,” he said.
Accused BJP to indulge in similar violence in northern countries, he said it was a disgrace that DMK also behaved in the same way in Tamil Nadu.
“DMK workers pamper themselves in difficult behavior, convinced that the police will not take action against them,” he said, demanding that everyone who attacked his partymen must be arrested.
Condemned the attack on NTK cadres, the coordinator with AIDMK Edappadi K Palaniswami urged the state government to begin decisive action against the wrong party workers.
“This is the murder of democracy when the police witnessed the incident instead of preventing it,” he said.
Palaniswami said that under the previous AIDMK regime, the government allowed all political parties to hold public meetings democratically.
“Even DMK did thousands of meetings in all states and criticized the AIDMK government using condescending comments,” said EPS.
Stalin claimed as a firework of freedom of life that was strong, but his parties were committing violence against opposition parties, social activists and social media, said Palaniswami.
On December 21, DMK workers attacked AIDMK POLLACHI MLA V Jayaraman when he participated in an event.
“It’s strange that the police ordered MLA, AIADMK cadres and villagers instead of ordering DMK cadres,” he said.
The leader of the VCK and DMK of Tholl Thirumavalavan Allies, while interacting with journalists at Nagercil in Kanyakumari District on Thursday said violence was not a solution.
“Political parties can fight statements,” he said, urging the government to take firm action against those involved in the Dharmapuri incident.
