Nagpur: City Police have broken the gang of Dacoits whose members, posing as beggars and toy sellers, which are respced during the day and their people are beaten in silent houses where armed lootings can take place without resistance at night.
On Thursday, the city police have arrested four Dacoit in a joint operation with the Kingdom of Alhanhabad Sleuths Branch.
After scanning the recording of nearly 100 CCTV cameras throughout the city and confirming their involvement with the analysis of fingerprints, the crime branch team under the addition of CP Sunil Phuluti and DCP Chinmay Pandit managed to identify the Gosiram Gosavi Madhya Pradesh.
The arrest was made with the help of cellular tracking technology.
Although Gosavi managed to give the police a slip, a crime branch team of Chourasiya, Ganesh Pawar, Psi Balram Jhadokar and others managed to take the son of Gembong Teacher aka Akash, Nirmal Mogya, Rohit Bhagat and Mogya’s Pardhi from Pardhi’s help with their fellow of Allahabad.
Cyber cells have helped the team track the location of the culprit.
CP Amitesh Kumar, who is very monitoring the investigation every day, said Gosavi, his other sons and other people will soon be arrested.
“This gang has a surprising history before in different places in the city,” said CP, added three cases resolved after detection which was included in the home of a senior citizen in Dabha and a partner’s residence within the limits of the police station Bottarodi.
“We have also recovered valuables worth RS4.60 lakh from them,” he said.
DCP Pandit said gang members also acted as a Coppocket in and around the train station and aware.
The police were learned to identify the gang after seeing them spread after each Dacoity and then reunited on the RBI and LIC Squares.
Kingpin Changiram was seen in one of the recordings where the gang was identified.
