Coweta: Some tornadoes reportedly tore Oklahoma on Sunday to Monday morning, causing damage but indirectly from death or injury.
The severe weather system also brings heavy rain, lightning and wind to Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Texas parts, and more weather storms are predicted to this weekend in parts of the United States.
Unusual bad weather in the southern plain in October, said Chuck Hodges, senior meteorologist with national weather services in Tulsa.
But the storm is Sunday “a bit more than spring setup,” he said.
“We have extraordinary high moisture and very weather systems, very strong ones coming,” he said.
Tornado warning and damage report appeared throughout Oklahoma starting Sunday afternoon and survey crew with weather services will head to Monday to determine how many tornadoes are beaten, said Hodges.
A possible tornado about the suburb of Tulsa Coweta at the end of the week caused significant damage to high school, home and gas station, reported news outlets, and the Coweta community school class was canceled on Monday.
Previously, Hail Baseball destroyed windows and dent cars in Norman, about 20 miles (32 km) south of Oklahoma City.
There are no deaths or injuries that are immediately reported.
Oklahoma Gas & Electric said in a statement that the crew actively worked to restore power outages.
Lightning which seems to come from the same storm line delay the NFL game between buffalo bills and heads in Kansas City, Missouri, for about an hour Sunday night.
On Monday, there were severe storm estimates in some parts of Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan while other storms were predicted to be Tuesday in Kansas and Oklahoma, the word storm prediction center.
