Bhubaneswar: Odisha has a total of 3.29 crore voters, including 1.61 crore women and 3,025 third gender voters, such as on January 1, in accordance with the final selection roll of 2022, published by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of SK Lohani, on Wednesday.
Official statement, issued by the CEO office, said new voters (in the age group 18-19 years) are estimated to reach 5.23 lakh.
The final selection roll this year, published after the revision of a summary of almost two months, has been uploaded on the Odisha CEO website.
During the revision, 9.50,789 new voters have been registered in the selection roll, while 3,82,601 names have been removed from the selection scroll.
Likewise, the selection correction recorded 3,82,601 voters had been carried out, the official source said.lohani said there had been a qualitative increase in the purity of the selection roll after revising special summaries.
