Vadodara: A trader who lives in the same cheated by two people who sell it 10 plots are under mortgages in Sokhda and have been sold by Duo to others.
The police said that Vijay Sharma’s complainant had actually shown readiness to buy property mortgaged from accusing Parmar Pritesh and even ensuring Parmar of the loan amount.
Between July and August last year, Sharma paid Rs 42.5 lakh, after which Parmar gave him a sales bill where Ko-accused Jayesh Parmar has been signed as a witness.
About three months ago, Sharma learned that Parmar had sold the same plot to other buyers Bhimji Katudiya in 2018 where he was also given the Bill of Sale.
When Katudiya also felt cheated, he filed a lawsuit against two accused and Sharma in a civil court in June.
Based on Sharma complaints, the fraud case was submitted at the Vadodara Taluka police station on Friday.
