Vadodara: The city enrolled the first Covid-19 case with an Omicron variant that did not have a travel history or contact.
It includes two cases of Omicron confirmed in the city on Thursday.

The second case is a 65-year-old man with a history of traveling to Nairobi, in Kenya.
He has returned on December 11 and was found positively on December 17 in testing follow-up by health officials.
He was hospitalized and three nearby contacts were tracked.
All contacts are tested negative.
