Noida / Greater Noida: Commuter was hit by whammy double on Monday.
While the road flooded made commuting challenging, protest by farmers who issued a tractor convoy slowing down Noida-Delhi traffic in the afternoon.
The farmers, in fact, gathered at the zero point of Yamuna Expressway around 11am and moved towards Noida through Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
It crashed into traffic at Pari Chowk for about half an hour.
And finally the way to Noida was blocked for more than two hours, resulting in Snarls on the service road too.
Farmers then moved to the Chilli border, which had been barricapped by Delhi police.

While officials live in the upper-class bungalows, farmers’ houses have been snatched,” said a farmer.
BKU spokesman Pawan Khatana said that the protesters went to the Noida Authority Office in Sector 6 when the Gautam Police Budh Nagar had promised that farmers would be permitted to have hearing with the CEO of the three industrial authorities.

BKU-Tikait spokesman Sunil Pradhan said that while farmers collected several problems, including compensation of 14%, the problem handed over 10% plots to farmers affected by the procurement of land Noida and Greater Noida, shift youth and employment to local youth, no resolution on one point.
“There is a slight movement in just two points when officials say that they will arrange Mela Rozgaar after being diwali and that shift policy is being worked on.
