Trump asked the Supreme Court to block the release of the January 6 document

Washington: Former President Donald Trump turned to the Supreme Court on Thursday in his last attempt to distance documents from the home committee investigating the January 6 rebellion in the Capitol.
Trump’s lawyer argues in their petition to the Supreme Court that “the president’s constitution and legislation gives a clear president’s right to protect their secrets of premature dissemination”.
“This case presents a clear threat to that right.” The Federal Appeal Court ruled Trump two weeks ago, but forbidden documents held by the national archive to be reversed before the Supreme Court had the opportunity to weigh.
Trump points to three out of nine judges.
Trump sued home January 6 and the national archive to stop the White House to allow the release of documents related to rebellion.
Trump claimed that as a former president he entitled to confirm executive privileges on records, with the reasons for releasing them to damage the presidency in the future.
But President Joe Biden decided that the documents were in public interests and therefore executive privileges should not be called.
These documents include the Presidential Diary, Visitor Logs, Draft Speeches, handwriting records “about the events of January 6” from the files of the former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and “Draft Executive Order on the topic of election integrity,” the archive has been said.
The DPR Committee said his record was very important for his investigation into deadly riots aimed at canceling the results of the presidential election of 2020.
