Mangaluru: Because the Covid-19 pandemic, classes on Tulu scripts are also taught online.
Jai Tulunad, an organization that struggles to provide tuuru language in time, is currently doing Tulu scripts and language classes through 120 WhatsApp groups.
Sudarshan Suratshkal, President Jai Tulangad, said that the language received a big boost with the state government approving Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy proposal to add Tucode scripts to the Unicode consortium character list.
“We continue to work for languages ​​for the past four years, and have done several online campaigns,” he said.

More women have advanced to learn Tulu.
The duration of free courses is one month, and the class is held for one hour every day, and doubts are cleaned through voice messages or Google meet sessions in student language feel comfortable.
In the past two years, the group has succeeded in training around 150 teachers.
Every student who has registered for this course must remove the examination at the end of the course.
About 1,000 students have cleared the exam so far, said Sadashiva Mudrady, Secretary General, Jai Tulunad.

The font has been independently developed by Prahlad Tanth.
