Tumakuru: Bus Kartnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KRSTC) lost from the city of Gubbi past Sunday midnight, only found abandoned near the village of 32km long hours later.
KSRTC officials can track vehicles with GPS help equipped with buses.

Bus Registration Number Bearing KA-06 F-0858 was parked at the Gubi Bus Stand by Driver Hanumantharayappa at around 9:45 a.m.
on October 17, 2021.
The driver and conductor went to bed in the hostel in the stand.
The crew woke up around 6.45 in the next day and found the bus was not where they parked it.
They told the Tumakuru Depot Manager and directed to file complaints to the Gubbi police.
Tumaku Depot 1 Manager Tulatiram BL said: “As soon as they told me, I reminded the vehicle tracking system in our department.
At 6.50 in the morning, we were able to track the vehicle, which was found abandoned near Sriramadevara Temple between Ajanahalli and Maragondanahalli, 32 km from the bus holder Gubbi.
“He told the Gubbi police that the bus was found.
The KSRTC staff and police personnel visited the place and found a whole vehicle.
Thieves do not steal batteries or other parts or diesel, and do not damage the vehicle.
Through GPS, officials knew that the bus was stolen at 1:35 a.m.
on October 18 and was taken to Kubigal through a Kg Temple.
It was also taken to Yediyuru and then left near the Sriramadevara temple at the age of 4.12 in the morning.
It has been 94 km from 1.35 in the morning and 4.12 in the morning.
The police suspect the vehicle cannot be stolen without the help of the KSRTC staff.
The Gubbi police are investigating this case.
Thieves will not dare to steal vehicles if CCTV cameras are installed in the bus holder.
Tulatiram said three months ago, they submitted a proposal to their head office in Bengaluru asking for the installation of CCTV cameras on all buses to stand in the Tumakuru District.
The KSRTC division controller KR Basavaraj told TII, “We have initiated an investigation into this case and will find the culprit with the help of the police.”
