Mangaluru: Jashan Chabra from Mangaluru, who scored 715 of 720 in Neet (UG) and obtained the number of India (air) 5, stood first in Karnataka, said that he never hoped to secure rank, but the goal was to perform well in the entrance test .
His inspiration to become a doctor came from ‘The Good Doctor,’ a television series of American medical drama he enjoyed watching.

Even though he scored a 99.1 percentile at Jee Main 2021, he was determined to become a surgeon or a cardiologist, and introduced a new method of health care to be based on the affordability and application of wise drugs.
He wants to be treated at the All Indian Medical Institute (AIIMS), New Delhi.
JASHAN Secure Air 20 at Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (Anthe), national level scholarship exams for school students.
Jashan also got a good score at Kishore Vaigyanik Protection of Yojana (KVPY) 2020, a scholarship program funded by the Indian Government Science and Technology Department.
