Mangaluru: Dakshina District Police Kannada has arrested two people for allegedly abusing a woman and attacked a man, who accompanied him, at a restaurant in a pustoping on Monday.
Seconds that women and two colleagues came in a car from Bengaluru to Putture on September 18, to get their car released from a local court.
The car was confiscated by Putton City police almost two months ago.
To complete the legal formality, women and two of his colleagues lived in the cottage.
Police said the defendant entered the restaurant where Rajeshwari, 36, an aneccant, and his friends Shiva from Bengaluru and Mohammed Arafat from Ullast were having dinner.
They allegedly harassed the woman because they sat with two men, and took their photos.
One defendant was reported to attack Shiva, and about five more men stood outside the restaurant, to possibly support the defendant.
The police rushed to the place and took control of the situation.
Based on complaints, the police have captured Geetesh, 29 and Ashok, 34, from Putture.
They are suspected of Hindu activists Jagarana Vedia.
