Vadodara: History-Sheeter of the letter and industrial product traders from Ahmedabad was arrested on Tuesday for stealing e-commerce company items worth Rs 1.7 Crore in the letter and left the truck near the Kajan in the Vadodara district.
The Mastermind of theft of Kushal Shah, a citizen in a letter, and the recipient of the Khatik Pankajkumar item, was arrested while Shah Shivlal’s father, the Ramesh Patel truck driver and Salman Cleaner escaped.
Sources in the local crime branch of Vadodara rural police said Major e-commerce had sent products from Bhiwandi in Maharashtra to Farrukhnagar in Haryana on July 31 through a logistics company.
The driver of Patel and Exhibition Salman’s exhibitions lowers products including popular brand sportswear, 485 smart phones, 827 Bluetooth earphones, 35 laptops, 135 cameras, kitchen utensils and equipment and clothing in failed diamondnagar in letters.
Then, they parked their truck outside the hotel near Karjan on the National Highway-48.
“When the hotel owner contacted the truck owner, the theft was revealed and they registered a complaint,” said a police officer.
When the police checked CCTV footage from hotels and other places where the truck stopped, Shah’s involvement, Shivlal and Khatik was revealed.
“Because the truck has a GPS device, we checked Godown in a letter where the truck stopped for a long time.
During the search, we found goods worth Rs 1.5 Crore in one of the warehouses and we can reach the kingpin,” police official said.
Shah was picked up from her house and she acknowledged the involvement of her father and khatik too.
While Shivlal was not found, the police team arrested the Khatik from his house in Saraspur in Ahmedabad.
