Greater Noida: Two people have been arrested for allegedly robbing commuters after offering them lift.
Police said two other gang members fled.
“On January 23, we have received complaints from Ravindra Kumar, a resident of Pururi, who stated that he was with two of his friends had reached Pari Chowk to get a bus to Firozabad,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishal Pandey additional.
He added that two people offered a ride.
He said that on the way, the men said that the car belonged to the post company and they needed to take the entry of goods in the office in Dankaur.
“Kumar and his friends save their telephone and the wallet containing around Rs 20,000.
The defendant dropped his three in Dankaur and asked to wait until they returned,” Pandey said.
The three waited for two hours but the defendant did not return.
