Vadodara: Two major General Hospitals at the SSG Hospital managed by Vadodara and GMers Medical College and Hospital, Gotri – have established Omicron Wards after the threat of new variants that tower large in the state.
The government managed SSG hospital has established two wards including one for normal patients and other wards equipped with ICU facilities as precautions.
“We already have a ward in the medical nurse house building that has been converted to Omicron Isolation Ward to accommodate normal patients.
For critical patients, we have dedicated the first floor of the Covid-19 building.
This is an ICU with 22 ventilators, oxygen concentrators, 24-hour oxygen lines , 30,000 liters of oxygen tanks and 24 hours medical staff and medical staff, “said Dr.

GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Gotri, also only has one Covid-19 patient, whose condition is said to be.
