Letter: Two men were employed as a home assistance detained on Sundays for allegedly stealing jewelry worth Rs 10.70 lakh from the diamond businessman house in the Parle Point City area in the letter.
The defendant was identified as Ragaram aka Deepak Rabari and Prahlad Chaudhary.
While Deepak was hired as a cook by Preet Shah (29), a resident of Mayur Plaza Society, Chaudhary was given the assignment of Housekeepinging.
Hah run a business of his diamond from the office in the Mahidharpura City area.
His family had employed deep four years ago while Chaudhary was only employed last year.
On Saturday night when the wife and Mrs.
Shah packed to shift to a house in Mumbai, they realized that diamonds and gold jewelry worth Rs 10.70 Lakh were lost from the safe.
Shah and his father rushed home from work and looked for missing jewelry.
Shah realized that on January 6, his family had come out of a letter for several days and both home assistance was entrusted with home responsibilities.
After Shah filed a complaint against the duo, the police had arrested them to be questioned.
