Pune: a quick truck colliding with two scooters, two Tempo and SUV on the Katraj-Dehu Bypass service path right after noon on Saturday, injuring two women.
“The two women, driving a scooter, suffered an injury to the accident,” said Senior Police Inspector Devidas Gheware from the Sinhagad Road Police Station.
The police said the truck headed for Mumbai from Satara.
After crossing Bridge Bhumn Kowk, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which hit the navy bridge fence and was disputed on the service track.
The police said the driver tried to return to bypass, when his vehicle collided with a scooter, which was riding on the wrong side.
“The truck then about two tempo and SUV,” Gheware said.
“The two women were taken to the nearest hospital, where they were treated and dismissed,” he said.
The incident disrupted the vehicle movement on the service track for one hour.
Police said no complaints were registered in this matter until the time of this writing.
