Mumbai: Mumbai’s anti-narcotics cell (ANC) has arrested two people and seized Heroin worth RS 15 Crore from their ownership in the Dongri area here, an official said on Wednesday.
The defendant, who is a resident of Rajasthan, has come to the city to sell smuggled goods to their customers, the official said.
Based on Tip-off, the Mumbai Crime branch branch understands the duo from the Dongri area in South Mumbai, he said.
During the search, the ANC team recovered around seven kg of substances that were prohibited from the defendant, the official said, added that further investigation was ongoing.
