BERLIN: 2 people were killed in a fire in western Germany on Thursday, authorities said.
The circumstances were uncertain but police said there seemed to be no threat to the public.
The episode occurred in Espelkamp, a city of approximately 26,000 near town of Bielefeld.
Officers found the body of an 48-year-old person, and a badly injured girl who died at the scene.
A 52-year-old neighborhood guy who had been supposed to be the perpetrator was about the run, authorities said.
The victims were taken at a home and at a road out, police spokeswoman Hella Christoph advised n-tv tv.
She explained there wasn’t considered to be some threat to residents.
