Vadodara: Two little girls were beaten and misused in public by a horde at Dahod District.
A violation of the incident was registered after the episode video became a viral on social media.
Eight people were arrested in connection with offers.
The incident occurred in the village of Bhuvero Dhanpur Taluka.
This is the third incident of its kind to take place in the district in July and the second in Dhanpur.
The video showed a group surrounding two teenage girls and shouting at them.
Some group members also beat the two girls and they were sleepy.
Police Dhanpur reached out to the mother of one of the girls who were beaten badly and registered complaints after the video was viral.
The mother of the 13-year-old girl revealed that the incident occurred on June 25.
The girl’s uncle and his brother took him out of the house.
They were very angry because the girl spoke to someone who used a boy’s cellphone.
The uncle’s daughter allegedly facilitated this.
15 people who consisted most of the close relatives of the two girls surrounded them even as the girl’s uncle and others rebuked.
His brother also even persecuted them.
Police Sub-Inspector Dhanpur B M Patel said that eight defendants were arrested in connection with violations.
He said that some time back as well as the girl was seen talking to someone by telephone and had been reprimanded.
Patel said that the girl had been advised and the remaining the defendant would be arrested.
It was revealed that this was done after defeating him when he had married his paramour.
Recently, a woman and paramour were beaten and partially organized in the village of Uchwan at Devgadh Baria Taluka.
