Jaipur: Two people who were allegedly involved in narcotics smuggling attacked the police team and even tried to hit them by vehicle when they took narcotics smugglers from their homes in Thambradia Village in the Khinvsar Nagaur Police Station area.
Four policemen were injured and had run from the place to save their lives while smugglers in their detention managed to escape.
According to the police, acting on specific inputs, the team of four armed police reached Babu Lal Bishnoi in Thambadia Village on Monday morning.
“We have special input on the movement of Bishnoi, a desired person in narcotics smuggling.
When our police walked with him to the main gate outside the farm where our vehicle was parked, two men including Brother Bishnii attacked our team,” said Gopal Krishhan, Station House Officer , Police Office Khinvsar.
“The two on the jeep also tried to hit our team where the four police were injured.
During this time Bishnoi in detention we managed to escape,” Krishhan added.
The police have registered a case of attack and caused prevention in government work against Bishnoi, his brother Kishnaram and another in this relationship in the right part of the IPC.
“We have arrested one person who had told the villagers about our movements in advance,” Krishhan added.
