Rajkot: Autharry police ordered two people and hordes of riots to fire security guards on duty at the salt pan from Rann Bachhav Samiti.
According to the complaint submitted with the police, five security personnel keep the plot at Little Rann Kutch, about 20 km from Kanmer Village in Rapar Taluka.
Defendant Namori Samtani, Nizam Gaffor and some unknown helper reached the place in eight vehicles, including SUVs and four bicycles, on Sunday night.
They first opened fire on the air before struggling with sticks and pipes.
The security guard managed to escape from that place, but the defendant chased them up to the village, threatening them not to approach the ground again.
The police said that the defendant was a native population of Vandh Maliya in Morbi Regency who wanted to own land for salt agriculture in the desert.
