Rajkot: Two men were arrested in separate cases for alleged cyberstalking teenage girl by turning their photos on social media by police crime Cyber Rajkot on Wednesday.
The defendant, who in both cases was in the mid 20s, had changed the picture of the little girls and harassed them by sending them obscene images.
In the first case, the police arrested Ejaz aka Soyeb Bhadula (25), a resident of Bhagvatipara.
According to police, Ejaz, a vegetable vendor, has downloaded photos of 11 girls from his Instagram account on December 31, 2021.
He changed the image and posted it on another Instagram account he had made.
Using his account, Ejaz is used to send morph images to teenage girls.
In the second case, the police arrested Nilesh Khakhra (28), a resident of Manavadar City in Junagadh District for allegedly harassing a 16-year-old Rajkot girl on social media.
Nilesh, who is unemployed, has downloaded the girl’s photos from her Instagram account and memorf with naked model images.
The police said that Nilesh also asked the victim to send him his naked picture he ignored over the past two months.
When the girl’s father knew about online harassment, he approached the Cybercrime police station.
The two defendants were ordered under the IPC section 354 (a) (b), 66 (c) and under the Information Technology Act.
