Lucknow: Two new bridges built from Kukrail Drain by Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation (UPSBC) are expected to be opened to the public from December 25.
The bridge will provide assistance to more than 50,000 commuters traveling every day from the Trans-Gomti region to the CIS-GOMTI area.
Speaking with Toi, Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh Representative on Tripathi said, “The two bridges in Kucrail are expected to be inaugurated at the former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji Ji on December 25.
The construction of the flyover near Munshipulia is also expected to begin soon.” According to UPSBC officials , Both bridges have been built on Kukrail Drain in the Area of ​​Sarvodayanagar and Rahimnagar.
Commuting traveling from Sarvodayanagar, Rahimnagar, Vikasnagar, Aliganj, Road Chair, Dandaiya, Mahanaagar and Gomtinagar will get direct connectivity between this area after the bridge is discarded to the public.
Both bridges have received approval from traffic police and certificates without objections from the Institute of Research Middle Road (CRRI) on safety and quality.
After the inauguration of the Kukrail road six lanes last year, the Minister of Defense and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh had asked the Minister of PWD Keshav Prasad Maurya to build two connecting bridges on the Kukrail route to alleviate the flow of traffic in the Trans-Gomti area.
