Rajkot: The city police detained a couple of physicians, who’d set their practices a couple weeks ago, from Rajkot’s Kothariya street on Thursday afternoon.
Both the accused employed to function as compounders at various hospitals before.
Not one of them had completed graduation, with abandoned studies following class XII.
In the first instance, authorities detained Anish Asraf Lingadia (30), a resident of Mahatma Gandhi Society at Rajkot.
He had been conducting an Om clinic at Lothda village nearby Rajkot city.
This is the next period that Lingadia was detained for practicing as a physician.
He was arrested around 18 weeks ago.
Police captured medical devices, sugar bottles and drugs worth 28,700 from his practice.
In another instance, police detained 50-year-old Sanjay Dave, a resident of Mehulnagar on Kothariya street, who had been working from a practice near Ranuja temple.

Before, on March 25, Special Operations Group (SGO) of all Rajkot city authorities had detained a 35-year-old Hiren Kanabar, a course X pass outside, that had been practicing as a physician.
He had been conducting Raghuvanshi clinic at Jay Jawan, Jay Kisan Society on Morbi street.
A law grad Sanjay Harniya (28) who was working as a physician was detained from Sanali village at Vinchhiya taluka of Rajkot district.
Police had seized medications, sugar bottles, oximeters and other materials worth Rs 81,000 in the practice.
