Overall, 44 teachers from all over the country will be respected at the night of the teacher in September 5.
Both of them from above are Tripti Mahor from Inter College government girls in Rampur and Manish Kumar from junior high school in Auraiyya.
A social science teacher for 10th grade students and historical teachers for 12th grade students, Tripti utilizes information and communication technology (ICT) to make interesting classes.
Tripti gets his personal projector to school for smart classes.
“When I start teaching through the projector, I see changes seen in students.
They are more receptive and their confidence gets a boost,” Tripti said.
Promoting fun learning in his school, Tripti organized drama to teach the struggle for freedom in India.
During locking, it made audio clips from various topics in the history aired on the YouTube channel department.
“I feel students not only have to learn history but also use noble Indian history to connect with life,” Tripti said.
For Manish Kumar, the recipient of the state teacher award in 2018, his innovation in taking science to the new Heights has made it a national award.
He has developed a science park in school where waste is invested.
“We have converted Kabaad Khana (Junkyard) at Kabaad Khazana (Memo treasure).
Students get waste from their homes and we make different products,” Manish said.
Five years ago, when Manish joined the school, no single tree on the campus.
“Now, there is no one inch of space left for further plantations,” he said.
Because the teaching of the class was disrupted due to a pandemic, Manish launched a YouTube channel, ‘Gyan Ka Yan’ involving children in a quick quiz series.
He also made several short films based on the environment and health.
