Rajkot: Branch of Local Crime (LCB) Police Kutch arrested two people on Sundays by planning to cheat people by selling antique jugs as ‘magical lights’ in Nakhatrana.
LCB sleuths has received a tip-off which both roam around Nakhatrana and they have a bag with them where some suspicious items are saved.
Based on this information, the police found two people identified as Kaushik Patel, a citizen of Nakhatrana, and Kishor Data, who lived in Bhuj.
When checking their bags, the police found antique metal jugs where there was an india india company inscription and 1818 and scorpion design was made.
Two small tube lights, batteries and electric circuits are also found in their bags.
Asking, the Duo told the police that they planned to sell a jug to some victims who were easily fooled as magical lights.
They will show it by connecting the tube lights to the circuit and battery, which will be hidden under the jug, and tell the people how the tube lights will light up because it’s magical.
Patel and the data were handed over to the Nakhtrana police station where cheating violations were registered.
