Director General of the Meteorology Department of India (IMD) Mrutyunjay Mohapatra shared the footstorm of the ‘Gulab’ storm, the second to influence Odisha in the past four months in an interview with interested in Singha.

Maximum rainfall is likely to occur on Sundays and its intensity will remain high for the next six to eight hours.
On Monday it will be a deep depression and the intensity will decrease.
Ganjam, Gajapati District in Odisha and Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram districts in Andhra Pradesh are likely to be affected.
Q: Do other cyclone circulation brew at Bengal Bay at the end of this week? A: No.

So far IMD does not make other cyclone storm estimates.
