Tehran: A senior emirati security official maturing in Iran on Monday, the ISNA news agency reported, in the last range between the two countries since the decline in relations five years ago.
National Security Advisor for UAE Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed al-Nahyan “will arrive tomorrow in Tehran” at the invitation of Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of the National Security Council of Iran Supplements, said the Semi-Official News Agency Sunday.
This will be the first visit of an official from the United Arab Emirates to Iran since the Gulf State in 2016 enraded the bond with the Islamic Republic.
It came after protesters attacked the Saudi diplomatic mission in Iran after Saudi Arabia’s execution of the respected Shia scholars.
Shia-the majority of Iran and Sunni Saudi Arabia rivals have held several talks since April aims to increase bonds.
“Development and strengthening bilateral relations and regional development examinations” will be discussed during Sheikh Tahnoun visit, said Isna.
The mission will take part in November 26th trip to UAE and Kuwait by Ali Bagheri, Head of Tehran’s nuclear negotiator.
In Abu Dhabi Bagheri met Anwar Gargash, UAE’s presidential advisor.
Bagheri said at that time there was an agreement to “open a new chapter” with the UAE and “open up the new horizon” with Kuwait, who also belong to Saudi Arabia and Emirates at the Weird Gulf Cooperation Council.
Emirates and Iran remain important economic partners.
Bagheri will meet Sheikh Tahnoun before talks between Iran and the power of the main world is expected to be continued in Vienna this weekend.
Negotiations about Iran’s nuclear program ended on Friday after restarting five days earlier.
Washington on Saturday warned it would not allow Iran to “walk slowly” temporary nuclear talks at the same time enhancing their atomic activities.
The United States is an indirect party for talks involving Iran, Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia.
Iran always insists that the nuclear program is peaceful.
