Udaipur: Two children with disabilities, who suffer from food poisoning, died while undergoing treatment at Maharana Bhupal Hospital in the city on Wednesday.
Five other children, all residents of the rehabilitation center carried out by Narayan Seva Sanshan, were being treated.
The incident was revealed after different children fell ill and were hospitalized.
One child recognized on Monday died on Tuesday, while another child, who was recognized on Tuesday, died on Wednesday while undergoing treatment.
The conditions of other children improved and they were said because of danger.
Udaipur District Collector Chetan Devda went to the hospital and instructed the relevant department to investigate this problem.
A team of specialists from the RNT Medical College has been sent to the rehabilitation center to find out the cause.
Food samples have been collected for investigations and doctors monitor the conditions of other children.
“It’s too early to comment on the cause of the incident,” Devda said.

According to Kharadi, of the 49 children living in the middle, six children were hospitalized after complaining food poisoning.
Two children aged 16 and 17 died during treatment.
One child was accepted in the ICU and the remaining four were treated in the ward.
According to Narayan Seva Sanshan management, the charity center usually provides cooked food in the kitchen institution for all inmates.
Sometimes, donors provide cooked food for children.
The possibility of food contaminated in such cases cannot be ruled out.
