Udupi: Industry Minister Karnataka Shettar Jagadises inaugurated the DC office which was enhanced in Udupi.
The road was named Former Minister Dr.
V S Acharya on his birthday.
Shettar said the senior leader of BJP L K Advani always remembered V S Acharya for his political will and effort which made him grow from becoming a local body member who was elected minister.
“Even the main ministers sought their opinions to resolve the main political crisis when he was a minister at home and medical education ministers,” Shettar said.
The minister said the DC office complex in Manipal was only realized because of the efforts made by the late leader.
Shettar said Acharya was an extraordinary leader who dedicated his life to strengthen the party directly from the grassroots level.
“He is a towering personality and is actively involved in all political fields.
With strong RSS background, Acharya put a lot of efforts to build BJP in the district and the country,” Shettar said.
