New Delhi: University Grant Commission (UGC) in a letter to all academic institutions requested to receive degrees, mark-sheets, and other documents available in documents released in the DigiLocker account as a valid document.
The UGC Secretary of Rajnish Jain in a letter to all academic institutions said, “All academic institutions are asked to receive other titles, mark-sheets and documents available in documents issued in the DigiLocker account as a valid document to increase the range of national academic storage programs.”

“The Ministry of Education (MOE), the Indian government has established a University Grant Commission (UGC) as an authorized body to implement NAD as a permanent scheme without retribution every cost of users in collaboration with DigiLocker as a single storage NAD,” Secretary UGC was then said in the letter.
Secretary UGC Rajnish Jain further said in a letter that academic institutions can enroll themselves and upload their institution’s academic awards in NAD through the NAD DigiLocker portal.
