LONDON: England on Friday experienced a new year’s night with a temperature floating around 15C, the Met Office said.
Ranyehill Village in Yorkshire recorded a temperature of 14.9C at 11am on Friday, breaking the previous 14.8C record located in Wales in 2011, said Office spokesman Met Office.
The Met Office then tweeted that Coningby village in Lincolnshire has recorded 15.3c “today’s meaning is the hottest new year’s night on a record in England”.
