Jhansi: Farmers’ Minister of Agriculture and Welfare of Farmers, Narendra Tomar, launched the Statue of Rani Laxmibai, along with placing the foundation stone for the construction of an auditorium of 800, 100 Male Hostel and Girls Hostel rooms, in addition to dedicating newly built boysel boysels and a complex Housing here, in Rani Laxmibai Central Agriculture University virtually, on Thursday.
The Director General, Indian Agricultural Research Council, Dr.
Trilochan Mohapatra, Chancellor Dr.
Punjab Singh, MP Jhangi-Lalitpur, Anurag Sharma, together with conscious MLA Ravi Sharma was also present on that occasion.
Overcoming the guests on this occasion, Tomar said that the central university was a big fit for Bundelkhand farmers because the area had a great opportunity in the agricultural sector.
The project connects the Ken-Betha River, along with the upcoming Bundelkhand toll road will further help farmers in this region become prosperous at various levels.
Previously, while welcoming the guests, Representatives of Chancellor Dr.
Arvind Kumar said that the university was committed to expanding all kinds of benefits for Bundelkhand farmers, along with the latest technical knowledge.
He told that the University utilizes 30% of its electricity consumption through solar energy.
