Vadodara: Selection of polls to suppress various reasons is known, but in a village in Dahod District there are no candidates on two seats for Pancrayat Gram polls.
PEVED on changes in these two wards, the villagers ensure that no one plays a poll.
Changes in the sixth and seven wards of Tunkivaju Village in Taluka Garbada ensure that some voters are exchanged between wards.
The villagers of this neighborhood are not happy in this matter and raise problems with leaders, but it is not resolved.
As a drastic step, they decided to ensure that no one opposed the polls of this environment.
Former President Taluka Panchayat Soma Chauhan said that there were no candidates on two wards.
“The candidate has prepared their nominated paper.
But until the last moment, the villagers did not depend and no one filed a form,” Chauhan said.
Some voters from two wards remained at the Taluka Panchayat office where the form must be submitted and it was confirmed that there were no candidates in.
Chauhan said that if the forms have submitted the election will occur when rival candidates are ready to compete.
Former Sarpana Village, RanjanSinh Sangod, said that the candidates like he had to suffer even though they were not with BJP in power.
“We tried to tell this voter that we were not involved with the decision, but they did not agree,” he said.
The election will be held at 10 wards left of Panchayat and also for Sarpana’s position.
The contestant for Sarpanch’s position tried to convince voters from two wards to choose Sarpanch.
A deadlock must be held for these two wards.
The two ward voters said that if a selection was held without reversing changes, they would oppose the election and repeat what they did now.
