‘Unscheduled surgery’ in Gynae Dept.: SR Doctor to check HR assignments

Ghaziabad: Following the complaints of the gynecologist who conducted a caesaresal operation that was not scheduled during the working hours of their colleagues at a joint hospital district, the hospital management had summarized a senior doctor to oversee Medicos working hours.
Senior doctors have also been given the responsibility to ensure that doctors do not interfere with their respective working hours.
The letter issued by the Head of Medical Inspector Dr.
Sanjay Teotia on Friday stated that recognizing major management mistakes in the Gynecology Department, Dr.
Mala Sharma, a senior consultant, was responsible for the department.
Dr.
Sharma will schedule the tasks of all female doctors in the OPD workspace, emergency, in addition to Custom Call from its level, and it will also be his responsibility to fulfill the task.
It is also directed that there is no caesarean section that will not be done by directly bringing patients to the work or gynecological operating theater by any doctor.
Conversely, only medical officers posted in the workspace will treat patients like that and will complete caesareans if an emergency occurs, further orders.
The source revealed that a few days ago a doctor who did not serve on the day did the delivery of a caesarean letter in the hospital without taking permission from the CMS hospital or the doctor on duty.
As a result, other female doctors posted in hospitals have looked for intervention from Dr.
Teotia in this case accusing “undue benefits” taken from patients through unprofessional behavior.
They added that if there are complications appearing during labor, the guess will come to the doctor whose job that day.
The hospital source accused several doctors posted in hospitals demanding the fees from the patient’s family for other reverse health services.
Complaints with hospital management and the health department have been made in the past too, they added.
When contacted, Dr.
