Kanpur: Three people were burned alive after a truck collided with trailers on the Kanpur-Sagar highway on Saturday and Sunday intervention.
A 40-year-old driver Karan Chhedi and a 19-year-old cleaner, the villagers of Charua, Chuhiarpur, went towards Kanpur with wheat trucks.
The incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m.
on the highway near the village of Amauli under the limits of the Ghatampam police station.
Immediately after the collision, the two vehicles were burning.
Arvind saved his life by jumping out of the vehicle, while the driver was injured and a officer trapped in Trailer and Karan Chhedi, the driver trapped in the truck, was burned alive.
Some fire tenders reached the place to extinguish the fire, police said.
The Kanpur-Sagar highway was blocked for several hours and the traffic was eaten at 7 in the morning, they said.
The Chairperson of Yogi Adityanath’s Minister expressed his sadness over an accident on the road and instructed senior officers to reach the place to help the victims.
