Davanagere: Upset because of the treatment and feel discriminated against by his brothers, a young girl who is less than 18 who allegedly serves toxic dinner to family members, killing his parents, sister and grandmother father.
His brother, who survived the offer in July, filed a complaint on Saturday when the forensic report came.
The girl was sent to a teen court in Chitradurga on Sunday.
Forensic reports say pesticides have been mixed in the yeast of Mudde (Ragi Balls) who served to family on July 12.
The 80-year-old girl’s grandmother, 45 and 40 parents and 16-year-old sisters died in 24 hours at the hospital.
Brother, who also suffered abdominal pain, vomiting and dysentery, survived with treatment.
Chitradurga sp Radhika G said the girl, around 17-and-ahalf years, had grown in her grandparents ‘house and moved to her parents’ house, several ways away, about three years ago.
Both families live in a village in Bharamasagara in Chitradurga Taluk.
“He felt at home and loved in his mother’s grandfather’s house while in his parents, he felt his brother and his sister was more loved,” SP said.
The murder case: a girl angry at the treatment, the girl told police that she was scolded and beaten by her parents regularly and sent to work as a farm laborer.
“He was treated in grade 8 when he came to his parents’ house but he did not do well in his studies and there was a fight about this.

On July 12, the girl told the police, she mixed pesticides while making yeast mudde and sambar for dinner.
While the family ate, he didn’t say he wasn’t hungry.
After death the following day, a non-natural death case was submitted and food samples, ships and visa were sent to the Forensic Laboratory in Davanagere.
