Chennai: DMK has suspended more than 50 officials to fight as independent candidates for the party candidates and their allies in the polls of urban local agencies in Tamil Nadu.
The Secretary General of the Duaimurugan Party issued a statement in a spokesman for the Murasoli Party Party, which submitted a nomination for the party and official candidates, has been suspended from primary party membership and their party posts to “break their party lines and bring the bad name with their actions.
“The source at the party said 56 officials had been suspended in the state.
From them, 21 were in Thanjavur and ten in Chennai.
