New York: US centers for controlling and prevention of disease on Wednesday issued a health advisor to increase Covid-19 vaccination among pregnant women, recently pregnant or trying to get pregnant, to prevent serious illness and death.
CDC said the data showed only 31% of pregnant people were vaccinated against Covid-19.
Although more pregnant women are now vaccinated, the CDC said the absorption of vaccines for pregnant women was lower than the general population.
Health institutions say in August, pregnant women must be vaccinated against Covid-19, based on new analysis that does not show an increased risk of miscarriage.
CDC said that in addition to the risk of severe disease and death for the pregnant society, there is an increased risk of premature birth in infected individuals Covid-19.
The Health Office, in his advisor, quoted data showing around 97% of pregnant people treated at the hospital with Coronavirus were not vaccinated.
