US unemployment sinks up to 3.9% more people find work

WASHINGTON: There is still enough money on the state and federal government’s mattress to help businesses, homeowners and schools through the latest Coronavirus waves driven by omicron variants that spread fast, said the economic advisor in the White House Cecilia Rouse on Friday.
“The American rescue plan is designed to have several old impacts of the pandemic built,” said Rouse to CNBC when asked if more stimulus money in work for the needs related to pandemic.
“The state and regional governments have the remaining money, the federal government will provide support to homeowners for warming bills,” said Rouse.
“So there are still funds available from the American rescue plan to help overcome keeping our school open, to help our business through this wave.” The Washington Post, citing three unknown people with knowledge of this issue, reported on Friday that the White House official was preparing to ask Congress for more covid health expenditure as a country that surges omicron.
The White House did not immediately comment on the report.

Increasing far less than expected in December amid a lack of workers, and the profits of work can remain moderate in the near future due to spiraling covid-19 cases disrupt economic activities.
Rouse quotes how fast Omicron moves and says that while businesses deal with absent employees because the exposure or infection of Coronavirus, the absence is now shorter.
“So this is a new challenge for our labor market, but we see employers trying to continue,” he said.
“And I have maximum confidence, while this will give headwind, we will continue to see recovery and we will be powerful through this wave too.”
