Prasagraj: Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) on Tuesday moved the application before the Head of Judge Magistrate (CJM), Prasagraj, was looking for a polygraph test to Anand Giri, Adya Tiwari and his son Sandeep Tiwari, three who were accused of Mahant Narendra Giri’s mysterious death.
The application will be taken by the CJM court on October 18.
The defendant will be connected through video conferencing to put their version before the court.
In its application, the CBI has requested permission for the polygraph test accused of knowing the truth in connection with the interrogation that occurred in connection with the case.
On the other hand, advice for the defendant also moved applications that opposed the polygraph test.
Anand Giri, Adya Tiwari and Sandeep Tiwari were accused of committing suicide Narendra Giri, then President Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP), whose body was found hanging from the ceiling of the room at Shri Math Bag in the boundaries of the Georgetown police station in Prayagraj at 20 September 2021.

A pine was put forward against the three accused of being under Section 306 (suicide reduction) of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) at the Georgetown Police Station in Prayagraj.
Furthermore, Anand Giri, Adya Tiwari and Sandeep Tiwari were arrested.
They were produced in front of the CJM court on September 22 and returned to detention for 14 days and sent to prison.
Then, on the recommendation of the state government, the investigation of this case was transferred from the police to the CBI.
At another stage, when acting on the application of CBI, CJM on October 5 extended the detention of judicially from three accused for a period of 14 more days.
At present, they are all nesting in Naini’s center prison.
