Lucknow: Additional Session Judge Tripathi PM on Thursday rejected Plea Guarantee of former IPS officer Amitabh Thakur sent to prison on August 27th for allegedly protecting MP BSP Atul Rai in the case of rape.

Passing orders, the judge observed that the accusation of Thakur was serious and the investigation in this case was still ongoing.
Therefore, in such circumstances, he has no right to guarantee at this stage, the jury added.
FIR was submitted to the Hazratganj police station on August 27 this year below 67, 195 A, 218, 306, 504, 506 and 120B IPC.
‘FB Live was treated as a declaration of dying accused that rape victims had submitted this case with the Lanka police station against BSP MP Atul Rai in Varanasi.
Then, some cases were submitted against victims in retaliation.
Feeling harassed, the victim sent the application to SSP, Varanasi on November 20, 2020, alleged that IPS officer Amitabh Thakur created false evidence in this case to save Atul Rai.
The victim gave a direct statement to Atul Rai and Amitabh Thakur on Facebook and after that he and his testimony raised themselves before the Supreme Court.
Then, they died in the hospital.
The Facebook Live was treated as a dying declaration of victims.
Amitabh Thakur was allegedly conspiring with BSP MP to force victims to commit suicide.
