Vadodara: Covid Case Straps reported in educational institutions continued with two more students – one from the school and the other from a positive college test for Covid-19.
Previously, students and a teacher had tested positive in the city.
On Friday, Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) official confirmed a positive case of Navrachana University (NU) student and a Shaisv school student.
Both educational institutions take necessary precautions.
The source said that the family members of the NU students had been tested positive last week while students tested positive on Tuesday.
While VMC officials confirmed this case at Shaishav School on Wednesday, it has been reported by school on Saturday afternoon.
The school has notified officials that offline classes will not be held for a week.
On Tuesday, a student from University M (MSU) has been tested positively.
Before MSU, three school students from elite schools in the city and a school teacher had tested positive.
One of the positive tested students at school is also a close contact of the couple identified as an Omicron case.
On Wednesday, 12 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the city and district.
This was detected from 5,441 tests.
With 10 people who were dismissed the total active case at 97.
The active case includes two in serious conditions that require a ventilator or bipap machine.
