Vadodara: “It is necessary to note that for healthy communities, good and righteous relationships and friendship between the same sex is needed …
Such examples (honey traps) not only shake the trust of the community but also shake the real purpose behind the gay concept or dating Same sex.
Such perpetrators are a threat to the community and also social balance.
“This was observed by the court session at Vadodara while rejecting the guarantee of a man who was arrested for squeezing a man along with two other friends through gay social networks and dating cellular applications.
The additional Judge A J Judge’s court also noted that violators such as the accusation of Rakesh Kanojiya ‘have shaken the social structure by trapping innocent people for their monetary profits’.
The court also dropped a lot to the defendant and said that it did not tend to show any punishment when he cheated the reporter and extort him.
Kanojiya and his legs Ajay Thakor and Akshay Gohil had planned to extort money from a man, who used the gay dating application.
Gohil took the man to a place that had been thought of before in Waghodiya in June.
When it was gohil and the man was in a compromise position, Kanojiya and Thakor recorded their videos and photos and then ambushed it.
They took RS 6,000 in cash, a gold necklace, cellphone and demanded more cash because the wife and sister of the man came to give Rs 12,000.
Then, they threatened the man to pay Rs 50,000 or they would circulate their photos and videos.
Bored with extortion, the man has submitted a violation of robbery, extortion, unnatural violations, criminal conspiracy and under information technology law.
After registration of FIR, the defendant was arrested and had undergone custody of the judiciary.
Kanojiya looked for a bail again because the investigator officer handed over a chargesheet from this case.
The founder of Trust Lakshya Trust Wali who worked with the LGBTQ community, Sylvester Merchant said that he was very surprised by the judgment.
“Gay men have very few choices for dating and days these cellular applications are widely used and virtual space is widely used.
It is important that these places remain safe,” he said.
