Thiruvananthapuram: Vegetable Promotion Board and Kerala Fruit (VFPCK) launched the first cellular farm market in the district on Tuesday.
ADM E Mohammad Safeher inaugurated the market at the location of the Civil station Kudapasunnu.
Cellular Agri Market is being organized by VFPCK Pappanchi Swashraya Karshaka Samithi.
The market will sell products that are directly sourced from farmers.
Cucumber, finger of women, beans, bitter pumps, bananas and fruits will be available through the market.
Consumers can buy vegetables at affordable prices.
The cellular market will function on Tuesday and Friday in front of the civil station starting at 15:00 to 17:00.
