Vadodara: Not only citizens, even the powerful BJP seems disappointed when it reaches speed, or lack, work on the longest flyover to be built in the city in the state.
Construction work from Flyover has been postponed by several years.
The project should have been completed at the end of 2020.
When the project was cleaned in 2017, Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) was proud of the fact that it was the first city company in the state to carry out the longest turnover to be built in city limits.
But hiccups and obstacles faced by the project are also unique.
Members and residents of BJP are both looking forward to the secondary project completion.
The city of BJP is hoped that the work on the flyover will take place before the end of 2020, when the civilian poll is scheduled.
But the flyover was not finished even earlier this year, when the re-scheduled poll was held.
Now, it is expected that work on the project will end in June 2022 if the work is done on a war footing.
“Because the council currently takes over VMC, the deadline has been extended until September 2022.
But we work hard to ensure that it was completed in June 2022, two months before the scheduled deadline,” said Chairman of the Permanent Committee of VMC Dr.
Hitendra Patel.

Officials connect several delays to Covid-19 locking and a broad shift of service lines and underground cables.
“Drainage channels and water supplies that must be moved.
Also, there are cables from various other institutions that must be shifted.
It spends a lot of time,” said the city engineer responsible VMC, Shailesh Mistry.
